HISTORY
- Caught in a losing battle against the Purge Engineers, the Green Lantern of Sector 1961 was briefly spared by the arrival of Sinestro. The former Green Lantern quickly dealt with the Purge Engineers and offered the Emerald Warrior an option to embrace fear and join him. When the Green Lantern did not, Sinestro killed him, leaving the Lantern's power ring to find a successor for Space Sector 1961.[1]
