HISTORY

A dedicated ring wielder, the Green Lantern of Laycorx served unquestioningly for decades, fighting countless battles and threats such as the Manhunters on Kaltuun and entire armadas. He left behind a wife and child, never to return and he eventually lost his life on a riot on a prison barge, his name forgotten to all, including himself. Still, his dying wish had as always been simply to return home and through a cracked power ring his will propelled the prison barge across the stars,

The barge, now filled with only reanimated corpses, was a threat to the planet Lacorx. Entering the planet's exosphere, the sheer mass would destroy a continent unless diverted. Green Lantern of Earth, Guy Gardner responded to the threat. Gardner's words, reminding the disillusioned Lantern of their shared oath, convinced him to self destruct the prison barge, breaking it into pieces that would burn up in the planet's atmosphere. Finally at peace, the Green Lantern of Laycorx passed on, his cracked power ring repairing itself to seek a worthy replacement. -Cursed Comics Cavalcade #1/4‎‎
