Synopsis:

After receiving the power ring from the dying Abin Sur, Hal Jordan is taken to Oa. The unconscious Jordan is scanned in the induction room while Green Lanterns Tomar-Re and Sinestro review his memories and debate the choice of a human as a member of the Corps. While Sinestro feels the ring has made a mistake, Tomar-Re is more optimistic and open-minded.

Synopsis:

On the war-torn world of Inguanzo, N'gila Grnt is an artist, which angers a warrior on her world. A power ring selects her as the new Green Lantern of Sector 512 and she is taken to Oa for training. Though she causes a potentially accident, she is able to use the ring to prevent the deaths of fellow Lanterns. Originally doubting the ring's choice, she comes to realize she is worthy of the Green Lantern Corps.
