Synopsis: - Twenty years prior to his death, Green Lantern Abin Sur must visit Earth to destroy a mechivore, an alien technology which crashlanded on Earth. Sur considers Earth a backwater planet and humanity a "primitive, stubborn, violent species." After witnessing the brave actions of Private Amanda Waller against the mechivore has second thoughts about humanity. In the present day, moments before his death, he is heartened to learn his successor will come from Earth.
