Ollie tells him of a time, back when he was first living in Star City, when he was enlisted for a quest by a long-lived, benevolent demon. A complicated fracas with a group of human-troll hybrids ensued and Ollie had to make a long shot across a ravine. It turned out to be a ruse, designed so that the immortal demon could be killed, and it is an event that still plays upon Ollie's mind to this day.
