HISTORY
- At the time a new addition to Easy Company, the soldier known as "Green Apple" was at first nervous from the war's the brutal combat. In the midst of battle, he asked Sgt. Rock how fellow soldiers Bulldozer, Ice Cream Soldier and Wildman got their nick-names. After Rock witnessed the new recruit tossing a grenade in a German Panzer, he coined the nickname "Green Apple" as the young soldier "was a green apple that had given the tank crew indigestion."
