HISTORY
Marcus, was a shepard, living outside Ancient Rome, who was framed by several Centurions as the would-be assassian of Praetor Claudius Crassus. He was sentenced to life as a galley slave, where he became very popular after stopping a lion with his bare hands. He was sold to Crassus's real would-be assassian, Cinna, and was forced to be a gladiator. After winning many fights, he was freed and given a Golden Helmet as a symbol of his bravery. Marcus became the Golden Gladiator, and protected ancient Rome, from Cinna's evil plans.
