OVERVIEW

An American intelligence officer who would sometimes get directly involved in the cases he dealt with.

HISTORY

During the 1940s, Captain Don Leash of Army Intelligence, known in governmental circles as G-2, took on cases that came to his attention and gave them his own personal attention acting as G-2. Wearing a light blue costume with orange/tan trim with a bold 'G-2' on the chest, he was recognized as a positive force in the intelligence community.

G-2's adventures often had him encountering Japanese spies or agents and his reaction and actions towards them bordered on the racist. If this is a conscious act on his part or just his reaction to the post-Pearl Harbor attitude towards Asian-Americans in general is unrevealed.

After 20 recorded cases, G-2 faded from the scene. Whether he continued to act as a independent agent or began working directly for the war effort is uncertain; his post-war activities are unrevealed at this time.

POWERS AND WEAPONS

G-2 exhibited no meta-human abilities, but was very athletic and an excellent hand-to-hand fighter. He was well acquainted with governmental workings and military tactics. He demonstrated an advanced knowledge of electronics for the era and knowledge of oriental culture.

G-2 used his fists and wits mostly, but used a pistol on occasion.
