HISTORY

Dominic Mndawe was chosen by Mike Payson to be the successor to the B'Wana Beast and was given the magical helmet and elixir. Feeling the name B'Wana was a white supremest name, Mndawe chose the name Freedom Beast. As Freedom Beast, Mndawe has been active in adventuring, often aiding Animal Man or joining with other heroes of supernatural backgrounds.

Freedom Beast was a menber of the Global Guardians. He was recently slain by Prometheus III. - Justice League: Cry for Justice #1
