Synopsis: - Magenta crashes out from the cells, uses her magnetic abilities to lock up those police officers present with their own handcuffs and retrieve a mysterious-looking key from beneath the floor of police HQ; then flies off with this and the Flash. When Linda discovers the situation, she tries to contact Jesse Quick.
- The Flash awakens to find himself stranded immobile in a magnetic field, and meets Cicada, leader of a Flash-devoted cult, who explains that after the tragic death of his wife he was hit by lightning and survived, and so he knew that he was destined always to survive, but had to sacrifice others to do so. However, he only kills those the Flash had saved from death - saved for him. The Flash is appalled, but Cicada ignores his protests, using the key Magenta acquired to open a coffin in which his wife's body has been preserved. In order to reawaken her, he says he needs the life energy of the Flash.
- Meanwhile, Morillo and Chyre chase after a lead and Linda is at home when an explosion rips through her house.
