- In the Police Department, Inspector Esperanza begins an internal investigation, which leads Detectives Allen and Montoya to fear for their jobs. However, it seems that they are worried about nothing, for the investigation is not into the recent Mad Hatter affair, but about the disappearance of Jordan Rich, the man who probably shot James Gordon.

Synopsis: - Slam Bradley continues his investigation into the life and last known whereabouts of Catwoman/Selina Kyle, 'encouraged' by the mobster Gino. He interviews Bruce Wayne and a number of more 'normal' Gotham residents, but only finds one person who recognizes her and a trail gone cold. He is then quizzed himself by Batman. Thoroughly fed up with the case, yet determined to see it through, he returns to his office, where he is greeted by Catwoman herself.
