- Pages 2 through 21 of this story is a comic book entitled "The Adventures of Copernicus Dent with His Best Girl and Plunky Assistant R'Nee" made by Harvey Dent as part of an art-therapy program by Doctor Russert. Batman only appears as a character in Harvey's comic book.
Synopsis: - Those in charge of money at Arkham Asylum make the decision to end Dr Vince Russert's art-therapy program, distressing the doctor concerned, who feels that he is making real progress with Harvey Dent (a.k.a. Two-Face) who has been producing a comic book...
- The comic book features the adventures of Copernicus Dent, his 'best girl' R'nee and his arch-enemy Janus. Janus repeatedly captures R'nee, who is repeatedly saved by Copernicus from a terrible fate. It transpires that the hideously ugly Janus wants to make R'nee similarly hideous, so that he can have her for himself. Battling an endless succession of Janus' henchmen, who are garbed in strange bat costumes, Copernicus is able to thwart Janus' plan. When the villain dies, we discover that underneath his mask is a man just as handsome as Dent.
