Comment(s):
- This story attempts to retcon the Atomic Knights as a dream of Gardner Grayle's as the high fantasy world he envisioned for an Earth ravaged by nuclear war would be vastly different from realistic events. In the illusion, set in 1992, six years after the war, Superman points out the rapid evolution of the radioactive monster, the Atomic Knights' giant dalmatians, and the relative success of humans in Durvale, which lacks even a hospital, as unlikely and illogical as a post-apocalyptic setting.
