HISTORY

Feeling threatened by the threat of a second World War, the Justice Society took it upon themselves to find some method of protecting the United States from attack. After aiding a group of scientists known as The Time Trust, the group was sent into the future, specifically 2441, to find a "Bomb Defense Formula".

By various methods, the Justice Society returned with the various portions of the "formula" stored in different locations on the future Earth. Assembling it, they were successful in proving that it could withstand bomb blasts and attack from outside sources, similar to a large force field.

However, after the initial test, it was sabotaged by Per Degaton, an assistant to the group. It is not known whether it was successfully repaired at a later date.
