The pride of Krypton's military, the unit Black Zero met a crushing defeat at the hands of Brainiac. They were unable to prevent the abduction of the city of Kandor and one hundred thousand of its citizens, nor prevent the murder of nearly seven million of their fellow Kryptonians.
