HISTORY

Black Swan was an award-winning ballerina who had been trained since birth. After she lost control during a performance and killed everyone on stage, she turned her back on her past life and became an assassin.

She joined some of the best fighters in the world on Lazarus Island to compete in a tournament held once every 100 years. If a combatant died in the tournament they would be brought back to life in the Lazarus Pit on the island and given the choice to leave after their second death. If they chose to fight again and died, they would not be resurrected.

Black Swan fought such fighters as Brutale, Raptor and one of the Double Dare sisters, whom she killed. Who killed Black Swan the first time is not known, but the second time she was killed by Ravager.

After that she bowed out of the tournament to watch it play out from the sidelines, but she would eventually join Robin and a bunch of others in defeating the Lazarus Demon and Mother Soul.
