This story is set early in Batman's career, a short while after his first encounter with the Joker, telling the story behind the Batcave's Robot T-Rex.

Synopsis:

Alfred relates the story of the giant dinosaur found in the Batcave. Murry Hart, the owner of a dinosaur-themed attraction called Dinosaur Island, was found dead and Batman soon discovered that the killer was Hart's business partner Stephan Chase. He confronted Chase at Dinosaur Island, fighting a menageries of animatronic beasts before capturing the murderer. Yet so often, he knew, his efforts were ineffectual. Alfred decides he should collect some mementos of Batman's successes, to remind him that he does make a difference, and the first of these is a robotic dinosaur from Dinosaur Island.
