HISTORY
When the second Atom needed to disappear for a while, he gave government agent Adam Cray the equipment needed to shrink to near-microscopic size. Cray joined the Suicide Squad where he served for a few missions before being killed by Blacksnake, a shrunken villain who thought he was Ray Palmer. -Suicide Squad #61
BLACK LANTERN: ATOM |
During the event known as the Blackest Night, a black ring descended upon the Atom's corpse located in Belle Reve. The ring downloaded all of the Atom's memories and created a duplicate of his body that rose from the grave as a member of the Black Lantern Corps to prey upon the Suicide Squad and the Secret Six. Black Lantern Atom was destroyed by the explosion of a Manhunter which released spectrum energy. -Secret Six Vol. 3 #18
