HISTORY

A member of the 'lost' tribe of Amazons only recently reunited with their Themysciran relatives, Artemis won a rigged competition to become a new Wonder Woman and died in battle, an event which Hippolyta had foreseen and wished to spare her daughter. Said daughter, Diana, entered the realm of Hades to rescue Artemis, who now spends much of her time training Wonder Girl in a variety of martial skills.
