OVERVIEW

Anne-Marie Vere is the granddaughter of the man known only as Control, head of the O.S.S. during World War II and of the undercover government agency known as the Argent during the Cold War. In recent years, Control died, but his granddaughter, Anne-Marie Vere, maintained the pretense that he was still alive to keep the group operating. In recent times, a confrontation with the Suicide Squad exposed the deception and an embattled Argent disbanded.
