Synopsis: - Clark Kent and Lois Lane are assigned to the same story: a politician known simply as The Candidate who has thus far allowed no interviews. They are not impressed by his flashy stage technique and empty rhetoric, but can see why other might be. Lois learns that there is a contract out on him, while an intergalactic assassin touches down in New York.
