Comment(s):

The box of forbidden Kryptonian weapons was sent into Krypton's orbit by order of the Science Council as told in World of Krypton #3. Buried at sea by Superboy in this story, the weapons were resurfaced in Action Comics #297/2 (February 1963): "The Forbidden Weapons of Krypton" which introduced Kru-El and that he created the weapons.
