OVERVIEW

Accomplished Perfect Physician is a member of the Chinese government controlled superteam called the Great Ten.

HISTORY

Yao Fei was born in the Anhui Province of China and dreamt of becoming a doctor. Being of a poor family he could not afford going to university, so he volunteered for the People's Liberation Army hoping that he might end up in an Army hospital. Instead he was sent into Tibet to stop an uprising. When he hesitated after making his first kill his superior opened fire on both the "traitors" and Yao Fei. Wounded he stumbled through the streets before passing out from blood loss. When he woke up he found himself in the house of the father of the monk he had killed. He learned that the monk was destined to have become the seventeenth incarnation of the Accomplished Perfect Physician and now Fei was to carry his burden in his stead. The monk's father had prepared the ritual and pushed Fei through a portal that would transform him. The memories of the sixteen previous Accomplished Perfect Physician's washed over him making him remember all their lives as if they were his own and seven hundred years of secrets and insights were passed onto him.

As the Accomplished Perfect Physician, Yao Fei would use his powers to help the people of China as a sort of Robin Hood. This brought him into conflict with the Chinese government who considered him a fugitive and traitor. The government sent out August Captain in Iron to turn him in to the authorities and the two would clash on several occations until Yao Fei agreed in joining the new state-sponsored team of super-heroes that would be known as the Great Ten. - Great Ten #1

POWERS AND WEAPONS

The Accomplisched Perfect Physician is equipped with the memories, secrets and insights of the sixteen Perfect Physician's before him. During his first incarnation he developed a system using sound to redirect energy, a system that has become more and more advanced with each new incarnation. Using sound he was able to cure various types of diseases including cancer, epilepsy and diabetes or stopping an earthquake. Yao Fei has further mastered his powers and is now even able to open portals into other dimensions.
