The Unofficial Who's Who in the DC Universe is an ongoing project to provide profiles on every single DC character, team, alien race, event etc. that has appeared in the pages of a DC comic set in the DC Universe. We have tried to combine some of the best features of the original Who's Who editions as well as added some of our own.

Due to reality-altering events like Crisis on Infinite Earths and Flashpoint, some characters' histories have undergone significant changes. As a result some characters might have more than one Who's Who page (that can be identified by era designation like '(Pre-Crisis)' in the title). If most of a character's history remains part of the current canon, even with some adjustments, the aim is to consolidate their entire history on a single page.

Who's Who entries are listed alphabetically by the character's name, followed by their real name. Generally, the most common version of the name is used (e.g., Dick Grayson instead of Richard John Grayson). Names are listed in the standard order: first name followed by surname.

Characters who are primarily known by a single name and a title, such as Mister Bones and Queen Hippolyta, are listed under the first letter of their titles (M for Mister, etc.).

Gods and characters that do not have a known secret identity but belong to a group might have the group name noted in brackets after the character name to distinguish the character from other similar named characters.

In some cases the entries will also have a comic age/timeline/Earth indication.
