Synopsis: - The mayor and the district attorney are dead, and Brick is taken into custody. However, he isn't remotely beaten - if he isn't released within twelve hours, he will kill the new mayor's youngest daughter, Connie. The police are barred from investigating, so the two Green Arrows must seek out any information they can find, which proves very difficult. Thy do eventually get a lead, but this proves to be a diversion planned by Brick, and they must give in. Brick is released and the girl is returned to her mother unharmed. A message has been sent to all concerned parties - Brick is in charge of Star City. Later, Green Arrow goes to collect Mia from hospital, where she has been receiving treatment for injuries sustained while rescuing him the day before, and she has some devastating news to tell him - she has tested positive for H.I.V.
